Okay so atm im just using these pencils to draw and shade;

theyr fine to use but not that good on shading really dark parts.
I'm wondering what you guys use so that I have a good idea on what to buy?

I like prismacolor pencils but Blick has some choice pencils as well, Dewrent is also great

In all seriousness, I didn't feel serious about drawing with color pencils until I had a set of Derwent ones. I'd pull those out and it was like a pool shark pulling out his personal cue stick.

my favs are the Ticonderoga by Dixon. #2 HB plain old pencils seem to do great for me.
This is one line of pencil that seems to have the lead perfectly centered, (seem to sharpen nicely, while some of the cheaper pencils tend to sharpen off-center and give you a wood point).
