I just opened an account there and I also opened a group on Facebook to help support sellers on ArtPal. I did it more or less as a challenge. I am no expecting a whole a lot.

Most people should know that selling art via POD sites is a tough game that takes a lot of patience and a lot of self-promotion.

I have noticed that since I started promoting my ArtPal site I am getting a lot of views but no sales so far. And before you tell me it is the art, you should know I sell the same art very well on 13 other websites.

They were saying they had 91,000 members when I started promoting the end of April. Now they are saying 93,000 members so they growing.

I spend about $10 a week on their move to the top program.

Here is the Facebook Group. If you are a member of ArtPal, please join us.

curious, suspicious and tempted...

G'day lovelies, I just found this lovely forum and added myself to the website, spent about an hour logging in, and found the search i initially wanted. Back to the topic, i always wonder how these companies offer free service and seem to get nothing back in money, or do they, selling data perhaps? Seems about right that no one buys from a highly populated site, i guess with anything you have to organise yourself and promote yourself to the eyeballs if you want any feedback or sales... Thanks for your posts folks... blessings
It's been a few years since I uploaded onto Artpal. Sold nothing yet, but they keep informing me status. I am treating it as one of the exposure page, doesn't hurt.
Great feedback

Cheers for the reply. Yea i guess it doesn't hurt, all exposure is good exposure...
I have not sold anything via ArtPal, after two years. On Etsy, a few; on Zazzle, a few more; on ArtFinder, 13 originals; on eBay, the most although it is still a trickle. www.louisasgingernuts.co.uk

Ps I have joined the Facebook group.
Selling

I have uploaded lot of my art work and created profile in this website around last week but I did not get any sales so far. Does anyone has experience of earning from this web site and did they have sales?
Statistics

I have got 182 views shown in statistics so far in one week from June 1 till June 8. No sales so far. How do I sell here? Any suggestions? Is it a good site for earning money? Thanks.
Canceled account

I have canceled my account yesterday on June 9,2020 as I got no single sale from June 1 to June 9 but my website views are 186 views. I feel this website is fishy and may be they get sales but pay nothing to the artists or something weird with this website. Thanks.
I have been on ARTPAL for YEARS (cannot find on their site when I originally signed up). I likely signed up a short time after signing up at FineARTamercia - which was 12 years ago. I have 33 pieces of original artwork on ART PAL and have not had a single sale. 3 years ago I moved my best selling piece (on FFA) "to the top" on ART PAL and have no sales. On FFA I have had 28 sales on this piece during those 3 years. On ART PAL have had - by their statistics - 15 viewers of all of my artwork over the last month. On FFA I have had 89 viewings of that ONE PIECE of art this month. I sold 30 pieces last year on FFA and ZERO on ART PAL. Kinda makes me wonder how they still exist. OR... are they selling and "keeping it a secret"?

Hi
I've been trying to sell digital artwork on Art Pal for a couple of months now without any sales.
I don't think Art Pal is doing anything wrong it's just that they actually don't have to make any sales for
them to make money.

Please bear with me and read on.
Over those couple of months I have paid the 95cents, or whatever it is, about six times to move a piece
to the top. This amounts to roughly a pint of beer here (I'm English) so the cost doesn't trouble me much.
Art Pals banner is currently stating that they have 197,000 artists on their books, if each of us put just one piece
to the top, that's a lot of beers.

A further point is that very few of the people viewing are likely to buy.
I moved a picture to the top yesterday (yes paying another dollar, I need that beer now) and have had 73 viewings.
29 of these are in the U.S. the rest are countries such as Vietnam, Ukraine, Russia and the U.K.
To buy one of my own prints (I didn't, I'm not that vain) added £100 in postage.
I doubt that, even if they could afford the postage it's unlikely that the viewer
in Vietnam will buy my lovely picture of Lindisfarne.
So I've gone back to good old acrylic on canvas and selling locally.

Wishing you happy painting and much success
Steve

I Jist found them and they scammed 200 out of me. No communication. Looks like it’s happened a lot when it comes to any kind of doing the right thing. They are scammers.

I’ve been on there for a few years now and have paid to have my art moved to the top. The only sale I have had was me purchasing my own work on a mug for quality control! It was crooked. I paid almost $50 CDN for a mug and it was crooked. I made a whopping $1.24 in us funds and it’s been sitting in my pay pal ever since because I paid for my own return anyway. If anyone else has any input I would love to hear some positive reviews! If not, I’m pulling my work from there. Thank you in advance.
