Hey guys,

Me and some friends made a website to help artists (medi.ci) but because none of us, strictly speaking, are fine artists, I thought I'd come here to seek some advice from you guys as to how to make it better.

Basically, it's a platform through which artists can receive monthly donations from their supporters. But in the case of visual/fine artists, it seems like supporters would need some kind of reason to give in this way.

Do you guys have any ideas as to how someone like yourselves could creatively use the site to get supporters?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts,
Pete

Good question.
Maybe make artists legally bound to return part of future sales proceeds.

On anther note, best things are those you do alone.
How about artists learn how to manage their finances and invest, or learn how to trade stocks online?
The idea is to learn how to produce material results (meaning enough to support yourself from profits) and then go ahead to produce spiritual results = art.
