Hi all, this is going to be my next project (it's very ambitious for me whichever medium I try) whilst I'm comfortable with pencil and paper I want to stretch myself. I saw this picture, I never knew an elephant would attack a rhino (I have now several pics of elephants attacking things you wouldn't believr) anyway I digress now gulp I was thinking of trying oils (not even got any yet) or digital both of which I've never tried know I know there is no extra cost for digital media ( I have downloaded an app) but, there would be a very steep learning curve. I've no idea how difficult oils are, which should I try and could I use oils on the watercolour paper I've drawn this on.

I know zip about paints, especially oil, but I like what you have so far.

You can't use oil on watercolor paper but why not try watercolor? It's not as unforgiving as people think.

Have you ever tried watercolor pencils?? I find them a lot of fun. Also, can you do acrylic on watercolor paper? Acrylics are a little easier to maneuver.

Hi all well purely based on cost (glass protective screen for my new tablet 3.49 the app was free, oils and brushes 30 quid plus) I'm going to try digital just waiting for the screen protector to come, I may be pestering some of the digital artistsignal on here for tips and advice (meli, sudden life ?)
