I've been trying to sketch more during my lunch break, 30min to eat and 30 min to sketch haha.

Here are a couple of recent sketches I have done. I have always had trouble sketching loose and I am trying to become more confident sketching with only pen.

A couple more sketches in pencil. This is my favorite character, D.Va, from a video game called Overwatch.


First sketch was done in 30min, pose is awkward and stiff, mainly because I decided to change the pose halfway through

Decided to re-draw her, but wanted to take my time. Embarrassingly took about 1.5 hours total. Had trouble getting her proportions right with her more dynamic pose and hair (blowing in the wind), also messed with the hand position a lot, but I am really pleased with how this sketch turned out. I think I am going to turn it into a more serious piece and use digital media.

They look pretty stunning to me.
The more you draw those same poses too, the more comfortable you'll get with it, and the quicker you'll get at it.
But, you've definitely got the talent for it. Wow. I especially like the last one. I was going to ask if she was from Overwatch, but then, I reread and you already wrote that she is.
I've never played it, but I have been liking the fan art from it.

Yeah, I need to draw more and practice variety of poses.

Overwatch is super fun and addicting. I didn't think I was going to like the game as much as I do. The fanart following is amazing!

I had to reference the pose (in the second one) and of course how the character looks (mainly her outfit and weapon), but I added my own "style", well right now I am exploring sketch styles.
