I did my first painting and I am needing some pointers and help. It is suppose to be two unbloomed tulips. It's not necessarily suppose to be realistic. It is a tribute painting. It just didn't turn out they way I wanted. The yellow is supposed to be in 3D. I am in need of some pointers.

"daydreamin'" - Shea just daydreaming about life's luxuries; money, diamonds, and heels. Showing how much riches, money and luxuries consume our minds. The pinky bite is to show how deep in thought she is about the goods.

"addicted 2 riches" - her obsession with diamonds is so severe that she can not live without. It has her hooked, and she can't get through life unless she's high on riches. The cocaine symbolism is to show addiction. Cocaine is replaced by diamonds.

"space for rent" - represents her heart being open for short term leasing. She doesn't want commit or long term love.

"blinded by money" - if being blind to the truth isn't bad enough, imagine being blind to truth because of money. Girls stay with dudes with cash and get treated terribly but can't see it. There's a metaphoric blindfold made of money over their eyes.

"silenced by love" - holding back your beliefs, feelings, or emotions for the sake of love. Being proverbial "silenced" for the love and respect for someone you love. Don't ever sacrifice your happiness for someone else.
