hello everyone, i'm new here and i want to start selling my abstract oil paintings and i need your help.

so i recently read an article that says that some galleries are very bad. they have a "habit" of losing art in the mail. they pay their artists late. they charge 50% commission but they expect the artists to bring in the sales. bad stuff like that.

and the article said that the way to find good galleries is by word of mouth. it said that i should talk to other artists that already know which galleries are good.

so, if you know of a good gallery anywhere in the US, please let me know. please also tell me how long you've had the relationship with that gallery, and anything else that you think sets that gallery apart from others.

thank you so much for your time and effort.

I would love to know this information as well. I know that the galleries that are local in my area do not cater to my style and are rather snobby. I've been thinking about trying to send my work down to California so my friends there can display and sell it for me. XD
