I'm a new member and just wanted to say hello. I'm interested in all kinds of art, but have had an itching to do some graffiti/street art over the past few years. Here's a link to a time-lapse video I made to capture the process of making my latest piece...

Graffiti isn't art. It's property damage. I won't click your link.

All of my work, including my graffiti pieces, are done on traditional canvas, glass, or wood panels that I sand, stain, and put together myself. I have never defaced or vandalized property with my artwork. Art is all about having no set boundaries and exploring new mediums. As a forum member of an artist community, you should try to be a little more open-minded.

There are too many teens around here with spray cans in their hands. Even irrigation ditches have been sprayed. Non of which I'd call art. Yours is and It's not what comes to mind when I hear the word "graffiti".

I agree, and thanks for the comment. You should check out the documentary, "Exit Through the Gift Shop." It's a very interesting movie that follows the rise of a few famous "street artists", including Banksy who you probably heard of. It's what originally got me interested in this medium.

In fact, I just completed a new piece this week in tribute of the black rhino, which has officially been declared as extinctů
