This is a general question to get ideas of how other artist deal with shipping different size paintings and different types ofpainting surfaces.
I like to work on primed Masonite/artist board as well as stretched canvas but when you start getting into large sizes 2ftx3ft and above and you have a customer that wants it shipped, how do you ship.
With canvas, do you unstretch, roll up the canvas, put it in a tube and let a framer restrech (at customers expense) deal with it on their end. How about Lg artist board, do you builad a wood box around it and go UPS.
I'm getting more interest in large abstract pieces, just trying to find best practice.
Thanks for any input
