Hello to all,

If you want to design something where you start, just draw a view by pencil on paper, or using pen ??

What,s your views on this ??

Thanks

Typically I start drawing what i'm imagining with a pencil, then ink it with a pen.

I used to painstakingly measure things out with a pencil, ruler, protractor, and glider. I would typically spend twice as much time doing that as actually laying ink on paper. Now, when I draw from a photo, I use an image tracer to sketch in the shapes, apply perspective as needed with rulers and such, and dive in with pen.

I am looking at doing some free form stuff this winter, which will be 100% pen.
