hey y'all!cheers from india :P i'm new here and i'm particularly interested in graphite, charcoal sketches and acrylic paintings. so i'm gonna share a few of my charcoal drawings here, let me know what you guys think :) i'd also love to know what you guys think i can improve upon

I'm a charcoal artist myself and these are amazing! How do you get them to look so neat and clean? Mine always get so messy

About getting it clean, i kinda suck at explaining, but I'll try. It's gonna sound wierd but u actually use eyeshadow brushes (those big brushes used for blushes will also work. But I tape the fibres together leaving just about 3mm in the end just so there's some firmness)..so I use these brushes to take the charcoal powder off the compressed stick and smudge it onto the paper . I don't use the stick directly on the paper if I want the softness , and also, I never use my finger to smudge ( instead I use the same brush) so the gradient is smooth and not all patchy . Hope you got the idea..

Your shading is outstanding. I will have to try brushes and charchoal soon, thank you for the technique idea. Please share more!
