Aight, so I applied for a few different schools and had an assignment for each. The assignment for the school I just got the acceptance letter from had to do with designing a building, the assignment for a school that focusses very much on technical skill required several drawings and a 3D model and the last one required a boardgame and a video of it.

The drawing of a building was alright, but not something I feel will be part of my portfolio, so I'm just gonna share with you guys the boardgame video I did and the 3D model. The latter could go into digital art as well, I think, but I want to have both pieces in the same topic.
I'm a bit self-conscious about being on camera, so the video has privacy setting that make sure only people who have the link can see it. An exception is made when someone adds this video to a list, so I want to ask you guys not to do that, please.

The video:

Obviously, it's all in Dutch, so sorry for that. The stuff I'm talking about is just me explaining the game's rules. The playing of the game after that is sped up so much because I was restricted by a time limit.
I haven't done anything with video in years, but this really made me want to do this more often.

The 3D bike:

As you can tell it's super low-poly. In the assignment it was not specified how low- or high-poly it was allowed to get, so I erred on the side of caution with as little as possible. I later added some smoothing to make the screenshots a little more pretty.
3D certainly is not my forte, but I'm still kinda proud of this thing. It's likely the most complex model I've ever made. It consists out of several different parts (the wheels, the pedals, the bags, etc.) and it took me a few days to make, though I did not have the time to fully work on it throughout the entire day.

Oh God, I just noticed the horrible typo in the title. Can somebody with wicked admin superpowers please fix that for me? -puppy eyes-

These are fun! I like watching you and your friend play the game, who won?

I was playing it with my mom, who was very excited about it, and she won : D
