I found a beautiful painting but it is quiete expensive for my taste. Is there any possibility for me to get this cheaper somehow on any other websites? Has anyone seen this before?

A quick reversed image search wasn't very productive, so I have my doubts it's going to be on sale elsewhere. Haven't seen it before either.
If it's just a print on canvas I can see why you might be hesitant to spend a lot of money on it, but if this painting you want is the original thing, the real deal, then I'd suggest you just cut your losses or save up for it. I converted the price to euros quickly to get a better perspective and honestly I'm not sure it's all that unreasonable.
Paintings are expensive. The hours that go into it, the price of quality canvas and the price of paint all added up are simply not cheap, I'm afraid.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I tried the reversed image search but without any luck also... This is handmade on canvas and I think you are right when it comes to the price too... was just looking for a cheaper way haha :(

Many thanks for the great response!

Why not make contact with the artist, maybe he would be willing to negotiate a price or maybe he has other smaller pieces which are more affordable. But at the end of the day, the artist created the work and deserves the money for doing so.

Great idea Steve. It is a canvas website so I probably should contact them since the artist name is not listed there. They have alot of other interesting motives also which I like, what do you think about this one (http://www.feelhome.se/produkt/el-capitolio-de-la-habana/), is it possible someone can make it as detailed as the image?

And also I concur with they deserving the money for creating it.

That's a nice work but personally I wouldn't touch a site like that with a 10ft barge pole, and not just because I don't speak Spanish. There are plenty of talented artists out there who can paint just about anything you can or can't imagine.

Do a search using keywords of a subject you're interested in and I'm sure you'll find an artist who has or will paint it for you, at least that way you know what you're getting and you're helping support an artist rather than a Chinese art factory owner.

You are fantastic. Thanks for that reply!
