: Art-themed boardgames?

I'm looking to get my friend an art-themed board game. Searching around the internet, I've found a few like Pastiche and The Gallerist. I also found a neat game called Starving Artists on Kickstarter that would fit the bill, but it says it won't deliver until December.

Has anyone had any luck with art themed games?

I remember there use to be this game called Masterpiece. Don't know if it's still in production, it was quite a while ago.

Thanks for the welcom.e

Looks like Masterpiece is pretty old and is going for $90 on Amazon. :surprise: That probably is a bit much.

Maybe I'll just go with the Starving Artists game since it looks like it has a way to make your own art into cards for the game. I'll get copy of my friends art and package that up while the game ships. (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fairway3games/starving-artists-award-winning-paint-by-cube-game)

I did scour google for a while but I couldn't find any new boardgames.... interesting to know really for an entrepreneurial artist who wants to fill a hole $$ (not that I am lol)

Pictionary is only an art game in the right hands. ;)

Kickstarter looks like they've had some art games in the recent past. Nothing mass market it doesn't look like though.

Masterpiece was a hoot, it taught me about great artists long before I had any clue that I'd someday tackle art myself. I used to play it when I was ten years old, drawing war scenes and rocket ships in class.

The picture that intrigued me the most was the Jackson Pollock. It looked like randomly strewn paint. I've seen one up close and personal, no change in my opinion. ;-)
