Hi everyone.

I've just come back to my love of painting after a looooong break and would love to start producing prints of some of my acrylic artwork to sell locally. I'm in the UK and was just wondering if you guys create your own prints at home or source them elsewhere? Wondering about investing in a printer/scanner that could produce what I need but would need some advice on the best reasonably priced one to get me started. Or the best reasonably priced way of getting prints done.

Any helpful advice would be most appreciated! Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I never make prints of my work, but I know a lot of the artists here do and would be able to answer your question. I'm thinking a lot of them use an online service, but I'll let others speak for themselves. I just wanted to welcome you.

Hello Bobkin!

Welcome to the forum!

Cannot answer your question on a professional level, but so far I have done my own copies but I have not been serious about selling my art.

Hi Bobkin, and Welcome :-)

I've kind of wondered that myself. One day I may decide to become a grown up about my art (hehe), and deem to make a buck or two, and I would probably need to have prints made myself.

Good question!! ;-)

Thank you all for your lovely welcome! I've been browsing some of the threads on and off throughout the day and already found so much helpful advice about so many things. I am sure I will find an answer somewhere. All good things come to those who wait and all that 😉. Thanks again xx
