Hello, fellow artists! I'm a long-time professional illustrator & designer, and I'm recently going back to my "manual art" roots, after having been in digital illustration for most of my career. Photoshop & Illustrator came out midway through my art school education, and by the end of my bachelors program, it was impressed on us that digital was the way forward. After 25 years, I just realize that it is unsatisfying, and now I'm going 'old school'. I hope to have some fun, and maybe occasionally get some feedback, or advice here.

Welcome to the forum. We share the same thoughts on digital art. I like to see your work. Post some to your album. The moderators will be glad to help you with that. BTW the introduction forum would have been the place to post an introduction.

Hi Paulie, welcome to the forum. I happen to love digital art, I'm finding myself spending more time doing digital art than the real painting.

I have been away for a bit, but hope to pop back in on a more regular basis now.
I have done both digital and hand drawn art, and for some reason with digital, I feel like I'm cheating. I just love the feel of the pencil and paper.

Hope you enjoy the forum

I work with computers day in and day out and I try to avoid digital art as much as possible. Not because I don't like it, I just don't want to work on a computer when I get home from work. So I'm with you Paulie, old school for me. Welcome to the forum.
