Today is a big day for me. I get to put up one of my paintings at the bank. :vs_bananasplit: I picked the Rose with the droplets on it. Having my painting displayed at the bank was one of my goals and today is the day.:vs_karate: It will be there this whole month.

How are you all doing? What are you working on? What's new in your life.

Have a great day and share it with us.

That's awesome! I made a few handmade postcards this morning, I may paint later if I have time. Heading to the eye doctor this afternoon for a first appointment, it could be a while. Hopefully later will work on my desert in progress, here's what it looks like so far.

@TerryCurley (https://www.artistforum.com/member.php?u=15058) You should give thanks to Gary Jenkins for the tutorial ...just in case someone recognizes the original author lol

About 1 week ago I've been to an art shop and bought the best canvas I could fine(oh well the best after linen ones but they didn't have linen on the sizes I wanted so had to settle on a lesser 1) and started a new painting...am just enjoying it...probably I'll finish it in 1 month...or more...lol

Congratulations Terry. It was a good painting choice to display and it looks lovely.

Today I am starting the outline for my next drawing and then I have been asked to do another one so 2016 is starting off as it should. I need to come up with an idea for a drawing to do for the fair. It has to be one done within the year. Last year I did a mad scramble and borrowed a drawing I did for my in-laws. It was not my best of the year but it still did really well.

I also got a 3D pen for Christmas. I am struggling to learn it.

That is great Terry, congratulations! Now you need another goal to replace the accomplished one.

Have fun with coming and current projects all!

Got some great pictures yesterday.

Need to get busy on the postcard project, kinda stalled out when I realized I need to start over, the ones I did were great practice but have proven a booger to get good copies. :vs_smirk: Oh well, live and learn.

Sounds like everyone has a lot going on.

Victoria I have mentioned more than once that the painting was from a Gary Jenkins tutorial, but I did make several changes to it. I posted this on FB when I first did it.

You have taken on a large project with doing these post cards Susan. But it is so rewarding when other's like your work.

Chanda whatever subject you pick, my money says you are going to win first place again. Can't wait to see it. Hope you do a WIP so we can see it develop.
