Called "trueful-sumthin-or-other", essentially 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 vermiculite & 1/3 Portland cement. Strength like concrete at 1/3 the weight. Been making pots from it while experimenting & these pieces are the first effort at different. They'll be attached to a tree stump to make a "gnome home". Door, 2 windows, conical roof & steps. Y'all might wanna try it. :vs_closedeyes:

Cool. How long does it take to dry?

Depends on thickness but I leave them in the sun several days before handling and a week before painting. I prime with a "green crete" primer. With the foam hotwire cutters I made there'll be some interesting pots this year! Gonna hit some yard sales for pottery & glass to break up for imbedding.

It's going to be beautiful with the glass imbedded in it.

Well, for the adventurous gardener, should be loads of fun. Me? I'm too lazy for all that. :vs_smirk:

I do have 5 flowerbeds here at the new house that I will have to tend to, and so far all I have done is buy some Elephant Ears. I may be in over my head. Lol
