Good Morning Artists. Beautiful day here in Arkansas. I hope we have a really long long fall...say up until February and then we can start spring. The only thing I dislike more than the extreme heat of summer is the extreme cold of winter.

On my schedule today is to work on the green vase picture. I want to put some gold leaf garnishing on it. Something simple like a lattice pattern. If you have any suggestion, I'm listening. Then I will start working on the flowers.

I'm also going to start another version of the "Country Path". I'll only do the underpainting for now. This time I want it to be more detailed and I'm going to make it more textured and larger...going to use an 18"x24" (46cm x 61cm)canvas. That's the biggest I have ever done.

I'll probably pop over to the flea market and see if I have sold a picture yet. Who knows, I believe in miracles. I also have to go to the doctor for a follow up blood test.

I guess I better get moving. Looking forward to reading and seeing good stuff here today.

Good morning. I wish our spring started in February!!! lol. How awesome would that be. I actually don't mind the cold..you can layer in the winter..but our summers aren't that hot either. What I hate are the drives to work in the snow and ice. The interestate takes priority here so the secondary highways (mine) often don't get hit with a snowplow or sand until much much later. We have idiot drivers who like to drive fast, pass you on shoulders and do donuts in the snow in the middle of a state highway. It's not fun. Luckily it's rural but still.

Fall is most definitely in FULL swing here. Nights are in the high 30s/low 40s..no real complaints. Did rip out most of my garden..it's done. I need to get out there and pick my pumpkins and my beets. About all that's left out there.

I have had full intentions of starting another drawing this week but just haven't yet.and that's ok. I am wiped out and tonight is another busy evening going from the barn to soccer practice to awana.

I really really like your country path painting Terry. I look forward to seeing your different version of it. As far as your vase picture - I would leave the vase as it is. It's pretty much perfect I think.

Good luck with your flea market pictures and your doctor visit.

Well thank you on the vase compliment but I want to use my Gold Leaf marker so I'm going to put something on it, just not sure what yet.

Hi hi!

Hmmm windy day here! It's not too cold or heat, but I hate the wind so... shu shu!

Went to the psychologist (Dag, I always need to use google for that word >.< don't know how is spelled xD). I didn't like today's session, it was a bit shorter and I don't know, I did not enjoy it. Anyway, it wasn't that bad, so I probably will get something good from it.

Now I'll go training a bit, then maybe drawing, and training again :P I have a basic idea about how to improve my drawing, or at least how to transmit what I want

Terry, this 21st we start spring >.< that's funny xD

Chanda, I wish we had snow here u.u we only get cold, rain, but never snow. Just once, and was the first time my parents saw snow in our city, so it's not very usual >.<

Disfruten el dia!

TerryCurley I am so glad I'm following your Facebook page, and getting to see all of your beautiful paintings, since I haven't had time to pop in here much.

chanda95 ... Wow, down in the 30's at night already...hubby would be in heaven. He loves the cold! Me, on the other hand, I'm a summer girl. :vs_cocktail:

FanKi ...it would not bother me a bit to never see snow again. :vs_smirk:

Still doing the house hunting/ buying thing. We look at more homes tomorrow. Hubby had his surgery follow up today, and all is well. I am drawing as much as time will allow, which isn't much. I'm so behind!!! :surprise:

There is no falling behind when it comes to art Leighann. It's all for the fun of it.

Have you seen any houses you are interested in?
