: My Life in Chaos

I have not been able to post as much as I would like...which annoys me greatly...so I thought I would share what is going on, so if I disappear for days at a time, you guys will know I wish I was here.

1. Hubby having gallbladder surgery Tuesday am...he will drive me bonkers for at least a week.

2. As soon as hubby has recovered from said surgery he is getting MRI on shoulder that may be torn rotater cuff...yuk!!! Another possible surgery. :surprise:

3. Said hubby keeps bugging me (for good reason), to go throught his zillions of VA records so we can trekk down to regional office. He is only temp retired at 90%. He really qualifies for perm retired at 100%. Just a matter of gathering the correct paperwork and submitting it. Very time consuming.

4. We are renting our current house from a relative. The original plan was to buy it, but it absolutely falling apart. Just got approved for a home loan (yippee!), so now I have to find us a house. :surprise::vs_OMG:

5. I have art that needs to be mailed, so many art pieces I want to start, and my brain is just on overload.

Anyway....I will try to jump on as much as I can...trust me, it's an escape, and I love you guys. :vs_love: I lost my best friend last year to cancer, so all I really have near me is my sister-in-law, and she has a family of her own to worry about.

Oh wow. You guys have so much on your plate. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers for sure. I hope you can get everything lined out with the surgery (ies) and the retirement. Yay on the home though! That's exciting news. Keep us updated on how you are doing.

No worries. I am not on as often as I would like to be either. We all have lives outside of here (shhhh...it's true but it shouldn't be.). We completely understand..especially with everything you have going on! Wow.

Just check in when you can! Good luck with it all! You got this. :vs_karate:

Leighann your hubby will be a new man after the surgeries are healed. I have to warn you though, I had both gall bladder removed and had rotator cuff surgery and the shoulder surgery was much worse than having the gall bladder removed. Orthopedic surgery takes a long time to heal, but it is so worth it. It gives you a new lease on life. Sending positive thoughts of healing to your hubby.

I so hate dealing with government anything. It took a bit to get John's military retirement where it needed to be. But he handled it all so all I really did was worry. I'm very good at that. He had such a complicated military career. He was first in the Navy for ten years and then switched to the Army for another ten years. It is none of my business, but wouldn't it be wise to let him take care of this himself? Maybe you will get a back pay check for all the time you have been on 90% and should have been at 100%. That would be cool to help you get settled in your new house.

Good vibes for you girl! I'm sure you will handle it like a pro! :vs_cool:

Hope everything goes ok, don't forget that after the storm the sunshine always comes back ^^ :vs_closedeyes:

Keep us informed!

Praying for you and yours sweetie. You will make it!

I have had many hours of bedside vigils and taking care of everything and the husband for months, rather he didn't need to experience such trials but I am always grateful to get through, exhausted but grateful.
