I posted the same question under Mixed Media.

I live in NYC and when I had the idea to print onto large spools I couldn't find anyone to do it without charging way too much. So what I did was ordered a roll of the clear mylar(?) and printed on an HP design jet. The prints look amazing and you can layer them.

With the light on a slow fade through all 16 colors, I am learning how to make what appears to be a mural during the day, but at night the mural moves with dramatic flair. Trick is to get layers of red, green, red, and blue.

Now is this hologram technology I'm tinkering with? I've looked online and can't find anyone who has done something similar.

Thanks for reading

M:)

It is an interesting technique but no it is not a hologram. A hologram has a complete image, all sides, like the person is standing in the room and you walk behind him and see his back.
