Bear with me...I am injured, so I am typing left handed, and it sucks. This also means art is on hold.
I was a very creative kid. In grade school I tried it all...my mom would bring me ceramics to paint, sketchbooks, paint by number kits, I loved all that stuff.
I took art in Junior High, and did really well, but the bug just didn't stick. I continued to be creative over the years, but I didn't draw again until 2009.
I was working in a doctor's office and I would draw on our dry erase board. Over time the stick figures evolved to the point where the docs and drug reps were taking pics of my dry erase drawings. I started drawing a little at home, and once I quit working and we moved back to my husband's hometown, I was able to devote more time to sketchbook.
So, I can thank a dry erase board in Jacksonville Arkansas for restarting my drawing.
