Welcome!! Great first try :)

If you enjoy drawing, don't worry about what it looks like, just draw anyway. I've talked to tattoo artists that say they can't draw a stick figure, but they create amazing tattoos.

Glad to have you on the forum.

Welcome to the forum! You are in great company! Everyone will help you with good advice as you learn and practice.
Draw what makes you happy as Leighann suggested. There are no rules to art, be bold, play with different styles, materials, mediums and subjects. Most of all, have fun! :)

Art is NOT about perfect lines.. perfect shading.. and perfect perspective (although we have made it that in many ways.

Art is simply about expressing yourself.. so have fun & express away :)

My words of advice to you are keep at it! You will really surprise yourself if you continue with it and dedicate yourself to learning to your art.

There are lots of very talented people here willing to give advice and help you grow and improve.

I would suggest getting a sketchbook and start off by drawing simple things. Focus on things like balls and boxes and getting the shapes "just right" after you are able to get shapes down..start working on shading. Get used to the pencil and pressure and how the values look depending on the pressure you exert. The harder the pressure the darker the value. Maybe see about taking an art class.

And yes Bushcraftonfire is is about creativity so if you don't want to focus on realistic art you can always work towards the modern art end of things as well. There is a huge market for abstract and modern art.

Ask lots of questions! We are here to help!

As earlier discussed practice makes a man perfect, so, you should have to practice to be a perfect artist. I didn't join any art class, but I like to check online tutorials, some books and works of different artists to learn the concepts deeply. I agree art is a representation of imaginations so it is good to work with free mind and without worrying about the results. Well, nice work at first attempt. Keep it up. :)
