I often enjoy creating a charcoal study sketch and develop the story after the fact. Any thoughts from your imagination. Thanks.

I think their trying to figure out where that chirping is coming from, them pesky crickets!!! Sorry still have the wizard3 rant in my mind. Anyway, this is a very dramatic piece, I think the viewer will come up with their own conclusions what this piece means to them. We all worry or run from something in our lives at some point...I would suggest to leave it as is and develop the piece into something for the viewer to ponder upon, like Chanda said she seen what the piece brought out and it may change the next time she views it. Without any predetermined theme the viewer will see what is reflected upon their own lives. Very moving Piece...Great piece!!!

Very often I create a piece with nothing specific in mind. This sketch is basically of a distant stare with wild hair. I too don't really know what she is thinking. I am glad that I didn't have a preconceived notion because comments like yours make the piece that much more real and changing to the imagination. I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Thank you.

I do have projects that require extensive planning and design. In order to free my mind during the course of the work I find spontaneous drawing is a great way to relax. You should try it. Simple pick a general and broad subject and start doodling.

I like this. One of my favorite movies is Pontypool. It's a "horror movie", it's shot entirely in a radio station with only audio cues to lead you on through the movie. They never tell you what is happening, instead they let your imagination make up what is going on and I feel that what this picture does. Very cool!
