Hello everyone, I would love to share my last color pencils work, well, actually it's Aquarelle - water colors pencils, but still, it's color pencils and mixed media as well.
Since I really love nature and everything that exists (not everything that walks on 2 back - modified - hands), I decided to at least somehow contribute to what we took from nature, you know... you feel powerless to help to creatures being extinct, especially if they died 100 years before you was even born, but still, you feel so bad about it and you wish to do something about it.
List of exterminated species is long and it huts, I know we was able to do something, yet we didn't do anything...
I used several paintings as reference.
Ara tricolor - Cuban macaw
Used: Albrecht Dührer by Faber-Castell, Staedtler Mars Lumograph and Fabriano sketch paper A4.
(sorry for not very good photo)

I love the details you have put in the Macaw, it looks so life like. We are of like minds when it comes to what us humans have done to so many species of animals. It can make you cry.

Thank you my friend. Yes, I very agree, humans are worst of the kind...

This is a beautifully rendered color pencil drawing. You should be very proud of it!
