What is the proper way to reply to messages left in your profile? At first I responded by replying from my profile page but then I thought the person won't get notification of a reply to their message, so now I'm replying in their profile so they will know I replied but then I'm thinking others reading their profile messages have know idea what I'm talking about. And now I'm all confused.

I've got the same question. Hope someone can tell us.

OH I remember that there is a little word on the bottom right of the post on a profile that says "conversation". I think if you click on that and type a message the other person gets the message. Maybe we could do an experiment if no one answers your question.

Clicked it but didn't see any option to reply. It's odd that there is no reply link under the posts, don't you think?

Liz I did a test and clicked on "view conversation" on a message you left and the conversation of everything we said to each other came up under a message box. I put in a message and posted it. Let me know if you get it on your profile.

Then I tried it on DleeG's message on my profile and got this:

TerryCurley, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

So I'm guessing it has something to do with the settings he has on his profile.

Got notified of your message, sent one back from my profile in "view Conversation", let me know if you're notified.

Read the FAQ. It gives a lot of information about the features of this site.

Yes I got it Liz and sent you one back. I think we figured it out.

You know I completely forgot about FAQ DleeG. I'll remember to look in it next time when I have an issue. Honestly I had a little trouble finding the FAQ, I was looking for it as a category in the forum. Then I noticed and there it was right up on the top in the menu bar. There certainly is a lot of information in there.

Yup I think we got it, got your reply too.
