15% commission, I heard 40% is the average for any gallery...

Don't change frames

Not if its very old, it's too risky to damage, and the original frame may have value or it's mixture with the piece in combination may create specific type of value.

Were you trying to work with watercolors? I've not experience really with acrylics but I was under the impression that you never add water to them, only to water colors? Gouach(sp?) and such?

Since images are copyable on this site and off line in general on most sites I recommend you put a watermark on the digital versions before you post them.
