Did come out well. You did good. PM is a very old way of sculpting & it often looked down on by some. No reason to. I've made large floats for parades that lasted decades. You can use many materials, some capable of withstanding the elements. Armatures can be varied, from wire, toothpics & sticks, foams, anything that will fill th' bill. PM also makes up a good under layer to support thinner layers of the final sculpting material, to save wieght & cost.

I was dumbfounded when you said the horse was made from paper mâché . WOW! WOW! WOW!

Love it! I always think of piñatas when I hear paper mache. Your sculpture is WAY more beautiful than that, though. The texture and color remind me of bronze.

It's a shame paper mâché is so stigmatised as a medium, you can make such wonderful sculptures out of it x it's something anyone can try as the materials are easy to get x :)

And I was trying to get it to look like bronze so I'm glad it worked x

Very nice!!!!!!

Actually, Bush, flour is a poor additive. weak & brittle. I think she mentioned she used glue, probably with water. Another thought: what is fiberglass but a form of PM?

Love the horse, well done!
