i feel lost

hello all, i'm just here to ask people for help, i feel lost people say that i'm very talented with my creations and my art skills i have never done any art courses only done a GCSE in art so i'm self taught, i have tried pencil, pastel, colour pencils, charcoal and now i have moved to fine liner pens which i really enjoy, i have looked on online for courses but i just don't feel like that is right for me and i don't no what to do with my talent should i look at courses or should i look at learning new skills with the style i enjoy the most. i just dont know what to do i really enjoy creating pieces using fine liner pens should i focus on just that and keep practising with that but, sorry i really just don't know i have attached some of my work that i have done with fine liner pens i really hope there is someone out there that can point me in the right direction

Thank you

I'm new to the forum and art, but.

Why don't you make up a simple book, but with a theme you're interested in, say 50 pages of your art, as I say linked by something you like. It will give you a purpose and something to show people as a sample of your work. Maybe link up with a person who likes poetry, and add that to the pages of the book?

If you have a talent it should not make you unhappy, but draw for yourself for a while, rather than trying to please others. I wish I had some talent?

Your work looks good to me. Unless there is something technical you are needing to do something I would just keep going like you are.

First and foremost it's important to realise you don't have to do anything with it. Choice can seem overwhelming and it's important to remind yourself that you're under no obligation to do it all. Nor do I think you should pressure yourself with wanting to figure out what to do with your talent straight away.

Having said that, my advice here would be to just try things out and see what works for you. New skills? Fun! Honing the skills you already have? Also great!
There's a lot of resources online, both paid courses and free material. Nothing is stopping you from continuing to make what you like and trying new things when you feel like it.

I think Richardhb really nailed it with 'draw for yourself for a while, rather than trying to please others.'
We can give you a lot of advice and are absolutely happy to help, but we can't tell you what the best course of action is for you, that's a decision you should make. My advice would be to just create what brings you joy and investigate what grabs your curiosity, but it's really just that: advice.
