Howdy, here's one of my drawings
My art training was two years in high school in the 70's. I tried everything, but landed on charcoal as my favorite. However, charcoal doesn't age well, so i moved over to ink. For twenty years, I occasionally dipped quills into bottles before giving it up for other pursuits.
Then, in 2014, my daughter asked me to draw a portrait of her house. I did so, and it all cam rushing back.
I started looking around Youtube, and discovered Aplhonso Dunn's amazing ink tutorials. And I discovered disposable drawing pens! Alphonso uses Pigma Microns, but I've landed on EK Tools as my favorites, the tips wear better for me.
Here's a collage I just finished a couple of weeks ago of my man, Mr. Zimmerman. It's called Busy Bein' Born. :-)
