Today is sort of an anniversary for me. It was one year ago today that I went to my first painting workshop that launched the hobby that I'm so immersed in.

Hope everyone has a great day. I'm planning to work more on the tiger today.

Good morning and happy artistic anniversary! Look forward to your progress. I have gotten nothing done on the horse. Past few lunch hours I have been caught up with stuff I need to get done and today might not be a lot different. I have to go get garden supplies...boo. I might wait until after work..less stress and more time.

Hope everybody has a good day today. Notice the forum is quieting down a bit. :-(

I have moved some of the questions about "who is this artist" to the Misc. Art thread. I do not feel it is fair to people who are posting their works to have their thread inundated by questions of such nature. I don't mind people coming on here asking about their artwork but I don't think it belongs within the threads that people are posting of their works. JMO.

Pretty mellow day today. I finally have irises blooming and I took photos this morning but I don't feel the lighting was good enough so may re-try tonight and share at some point.

Seems to be an unusual amount of these particular questions, have never seen it on other forums.

I have not seen it on other forums either and don't know why this place seems to be a magnet for them but it is.

My priority (and I know it is yours as well Terry) is on our contributing artists and I do not think it is fair to any of us to have these requests flooding our forums. My aim is to have a dedicated area for the requests and let our artists have their forums back.

I think Terry and I have agreed to just have those posts moved to the Off Topic Section.

Interestingly we seem to have a flood of spammers today. Not sure why but an announcement has been made.

Spammers are NOT tolerated. AT ALL. If any of you see a spammer (that we haven't seen yet) immediately contact myself or Terry and we will take care of the situation.

Now that I am off my "mood" lol..does anybody have any new art to share? By the time I got back from getting the garden soil I didn't have time but will take it home and maybe work on it this weekend..maybe.

Thanks for asking Chanda, yes I did a little on the tiger this morning but got tired and just got up from my nap. I haven't been feeling so terrific lately and I'm a little worried about keeping up with the kids on vacation. I plan to do a little more on the Tiger later today. I'm loving how it's coming out and can't wait to share it. Whatever I get done today I'll take a picture of it and post in the WIP.

Yes............. what the heck is up with all these spammers coming on? I only banned one but I see where you have done two since yesterday.

Oh yeay! An update. I am loving what I am seeing with it so far. It's just so nice. I am sorry you haven't been feeling well. I do hope you get better soon! Is it next week you will start your vacation?

We go through waves with the spammers. It's actually now up to 3 but I think diligence pays off. They will hit hard and heavy and eventually move on. They have done this before.

I would love for ALL members to help fight this. When you see it let us know! Generally one of us is on and will catch it but sometimes that's not the case. This site is all of ours so to keep it a great place for us to hang out let's stay diligent and alert. Your help is really appreciated!
