I am lagging bad today. My kiddo had activities last night and I don't think I fully recovered. Got a lot planned for the next few days as well but I do hope to get some drawing time in there somehow.

I wanted to let everybody know that there is a new section. It's titled "Life Drawings" There is a sticky explaining what it's for and what the rules are so I do encourage everybody to go read that. Hopefully ARTadmin will add a description for it as well. The request has been made. We don't want people inadvertently opening it without being fully aware of what it is.

Essentially Life Drawings are for all artwork that contains mature content, ie..nudes or graphically violent work. We understand that nudes are pretty normal in the world of art and do not want to discourage anyone from posting their work however not everybody wants to see it. This allows our incredibly talented artists to display their works and it's a place for those who are not the least bit interested in seeing mature content to ignore.

The primary requirement is that we ask you not to post those pictures in your photo albums as you would other photos because we have individual pictures running across the top of the screen. This is an open forum and people of all age levels visit it. You are more than welcome to start your threads and add your pictures as attachments or you can add them within the post using an outside source.

I would love to see features like on other forums where you can label and block mature content - that means nothing really changes with how you upload and share your work. Unfortunately that is not an option with this site and as moderators our hands are tied for anything that involves major site modifications.
