Daily Chat - May 29, 2015

Good morning! Hope you all have a wonderful day. I HOPE to fix the mouth on the little girl in my drawing and be done with it today but we will see.

Aside from that it's just another day in paradise here. Work at work and work at home..lol. Actually we have been riding in the evenings so that has been providing a little bit of fun.

Happy birthday to your daughter David and I hope your grandson feels better. Have fun!!!

Anxious to see the artistic updates today!

Hey everyone, working the afternoon shift today, maybe I can get more work done on my eagle but that depends on some housework issues.

Blessings!

I should be doing some housework too...maybe a little later...being retired sure is great.

I've decided I want this cabin picture I am working on full of life, so I drew a couple kissing in the window and I think I'm going to add some birds in the sky and a squirrel or two on the ground and maybe even a carp in the water. I'm still going to have to figure out how to handle the water reflections but I'm facing it as a challenge. The drawing of the kissing couple is such a small one that painting them will be another challenge. One thing good about doing a picture for yourself instead of for someone else is that the stress is off. If it doesn't work out, no big deal.

I've managed to smudge a lot of what I have done but it will be easy to fix. I've only once before attempted to get this level of detail in a picture and that picture came out OK but nothing I would want to post here.

My right hand has been going numb on and off and sometimes I drop the brush. Growing old sure does suck!

As Kathrine Hepburn once said, "Growing old ain't for sissies!"

Do hope your hand stops going on vacation without you.

LOL I thought your 13 year old was a boy also....I too am sorry David. I think it's because both Chanda and I only have sons that we just assume when you are talking about your kid it's a boy. Only grandkids are girls in my world. ROFLOL

Wow, David, I bet u can change a diaper blindfolded with one hand. Lol
We only have furry kids, but hubby has 2 nieces close by, and the 6 year old likes to stay with us.
I'm still fighting some funky stomach thing, so art is going slow for me. Happy Friday to everyone!
