Daily chat - May 23, 2015

Happy Saturday everyone. Just musing here. I don't have any plans for this long weekend except to mow and paint. I'm going to start a new picture today probably. I saw a picture this morning online that Wilson Bickford is covering in his next class, I'm thinking I might give it a shot.

I purchased the plane tickets for a 5 day painting retreat in NV that I will be going to in September. The instructor is a Wilson Bickford trained instructor, second best thing since I can't seem to get to a Wilson Bickford retreat because of timing. That is going to be fun!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Happy Saturday. I know whatever you do will be great Terry. Sounds like a fun adventure in September!

We were possibly gonna head out to a branding today but hubby decided not to so now I have 3 days with nothing to do and I HATE having nothing to do and I don't look forward to this extremely BORING weekend. Makes it worse that it's a long weekend.

Boring is something I don't experience...I think boring is peaceful. I think when I was younger and had lots of energy it was different but now I enjoy peacefulness.

I guess the term boring should be clarified. For me it's staying home AGAIN and working on the house. We have split and stacked wood most of the morning, cleaned up under the porch, raked up dog poop, watered the plants and picked weeds. Honestly we do this every weekend..we WORK..and just once I thought maybe going to the branding would be a nice diversion..something different..since it's a 3 day weekend I had hoped to do something fun. That's not going to happen. Tomorrow I guess I paint the pantry.

Yes I am. :-( Oh well. Maybe at some point there will be a fun weekend ahead. I let my kid ride his horse...about as fun as it got today.

Not feeling well this weekend, but managed to finish some art. Everyone else enjoy the rest of this holiday. Also, as the wife of a disabled veteran, and the daughter of a WWII veteran, God bless all those who serve, have served, or who plan to serve.

Sorry to hear you were not well this weekend Leighann. You have my prayers for a quick recovery. My thanks to your father, your husband and you for your sacrifices for our country.

Grateful to Jesus for everything!
