Daily Chat - March 2, 2015

I got the date right today!

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all able to get a little "art time" in today. On my lunch hour I plan on getting a little done on my drawing.

Much better day weather wise here...though the winds are really supposed to kick up.

Not much on my agenda today. What's going on in your part of the world?

Just finished my first try at painting Jayna. I love the picture in that it's, I believe, a good picture of a beautiful young woman, but unfortunately the picture doesn't look like Jayna. But the next one will.

Today is going be a very self indulging day. Planning to go out to lunch and stop at Hobby Lobby (My favorite shopping place). I'll probably start another picture. I think I'm going to do a few not portrait paintings that I've been thinking of doing.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I think it turned out really really nice! Love the highlighting you did. Even if it doesn't look like her you turned out a great painting.

Hope you have a great day. Have fun at Hobby Lobby. My town is so small that we don't have one here. I order everything I need from Dick Blicks. They have good stuff at great prices.

Well never made it out of the house. Little things kept happening then my husband took the car to do some errands. So tomorrow will be self indulgent day. I did do a quick painting though. A puppy Yorkie. No detail in it, went very fast. Did the background in Acrylic.

How cute. You captured it well. Very expressive. It looks like a very curious little pup!

Woof, woof, what an expressive little yorky.

I started the male cardinal acrylic today, probably could have finished it but thought I'd save the rest for tomorrow.

Whenever you tilt the head to the side in a doggie picture it makes it look expressive. I love titled heads. LOL
