I think it's neat that Johanna is doing so well! She must feel so proud and to keep her involved in an activity like that is a great thing. I have found the more energy they put into activities like that the less time they have for getting into trouble..lol..less boredom when they have a focus and interest in something.

Worked some on my mountain picture. I glazed the water and the sky a little bit and then added ice flows to the water. I'm thinking the ice flows need a little something extra but can't figure out what.

All that I have left to do is the snow on the mountain. That has to wait the mountain is still wet. Looking at the mountain it looks like a big piece of crystal or marble, I'm not sure if that's good or not.

I personally think the mountain is my favorite part of this whole painting. It has so much texture and life to it!

Well I started working more on the ice flows and got carried away and put the snow on the mountain even though it isn't completely dry, it's dry enough.

So this is it, I'm considering it done. I'm open to critical help. I'll tell you what I know I did wrong. The reflection of the mountain in the water doesn't show the snow at all. I tried to add it but then it got all confused with the ice flow and decided to go without the snow reflection.

I'm actually pretty happy with this and can't wait to show my friends.
