Dailey chat Feb, 7 2016

I guess there's noone left to start these chats but me? I sure wish we could get a few more moderators here. I don't really have a lot of time for it and I hear I'm slacking Oh well, I'm doing what I can.

I'm still in Easton visiting with my daughter. We've got beautiful skies here and I'm really enjoying my stay. There's a hobby Lobby within walking distance and I didn't even go in it. Shame on me.

We got some beautiful pictures from friend back home in RI, after the storm pics. These aren't the best but I'm having trouble finding them for some reason. Enjoy.

I would help if I had more time, but I'm still unpacking this house, and dealing with a disabled hubby who just had major surgery. In addition, my sister-in-law tends to abuse the fact that I don't work a "real job" and I help a lot with the two nieces.

I've noticed several members have gone away, but hopefully some new members will come along to liven up the forum again.

Hope you just stick around. I have the same hopes and I really miss the ones that left. They were my intro to art forums and critics.

Everybody and Anybody can start a chat. I hope you all know that folks.

I've got nothing but good news in the art department of my life. Except maybe I'm not getting enough time to do it lately. This was my granddaughter's birthday and the weekend was spent to catering to her and my other grandchildren. In addition to that I'm getting the report together for my son's and his wife's business so they can do their taxes. That is a very time consuming job.

But the sales at the flea market is doing remarkable since I put the display in the new building. I really need to get busy painting again because there are gaps in my wall of the display now. So perhaps today I can start on a new one. I'm going to redo the sunset scene to put up on the display. The one in my living room is going to stay where it is. I'm so excited because I broke even with the cost of supplies on my art for January (first time ever). That's a good feeling.

I might consider raising my prices just a tiny bit.

Great news on your sales! Yes, raise your prices! Go crazy, if they stop selling because you raised them too high have a sale! People love sales.

It is sad so many members here seem to fade away, I am sure this happens to most forums.

You are doing a great job Dick! Don't let people get to you.

Sounds like you have a full plate Leighann.

Just dropping in to say hello. I haven't been logged in in a while but I'm still around now and then. Like lieghann my partners disabled, chronic nerve damage, so he takes up a lot of my time. My dad's also been in hospital for a triple bypass and still recovering from that. We lost our dog just before christmas too which has been really hard on us, she was 16 years old. Life can be so hard at times, but, I'll be finishing up some courses in veterinary studies in a few weeks and get to spent more time out with our horses again and hopefully get back to doing some art work. The last one I did was around November, a pencil drawing of my parents dogs as a present, if i can find the digital I'll post it up later for everyone. Sad to hear other members have been disappearing too but i still see names I recognize. Terry, so happy to hear you doing well with your art, I love that sunset on the wall, just keep doing what you do.
