Just want to say I will have my 2 year old grandson at my house all day tomorrow so I probably won't be on the computer. I love my little Jack but OH my aching back! |

About choosing a style I agree with you about us all having our own innate personal style kind of like a signature. However there are definitely many aspects of that style we can consciously choose. Do we want to be realistic or impressionistic or abstract. Do we want to be colorful or limited in color or monochromatic. Do we want to use a vignette effect or take the picture out to boundaries of the paper/canvas. There are lots of choices to make within a persons style, but yes basically it is inborn and does reveal itself. Absolutely! |

I am so sorry Terry. That happened to us once. We found a hunting dog and the owner yelled at us and told us we should have just left him on the mountain..meanwhile he hadn't eaten or drank all day because the owner lost him the day before and claimed he was going back up to find him that day. People these days irritate me. Manners have gone out the window for so many. |
I do feel sorry for that dog. So sad.
Same old thing here. Thought I would start on a new drawing but I don't know. I might take a little break today and start it in a day or two.
Had a good weekend but a little tired this morning. Got work and soccer practice to look forward today.

Daily Chat - September 14, 2015
Good Morning everyone.
Only a few more days before I leave for the haunted retreat. One minute I think..."Oh This is going to be fun"....The next minute I think "Do I really want to go?" Honestly if I had refundable airline tickets I would back out of it. But I'm just too cheap to forfeit the price of the airline tickets and the price of the retreat because of a little fear. I'm still a little upset with Sharon (the instructor) for not telling us upfront about this being a known haunted building. More than anything else I find the idea of a soul being trapped in the physical plan very upsetting. I'd like to believe that can't happen and I sure don't want any proof to contradict that.
Yesterday we found the owner of the Chocolate Lab that adopted us. At first I thought, well she will be happy to be back with her family and it is all for the best. Now I don't think that at all. The owner was one of the most nasty people I ever met. Here I was doing her a favor and she was yelling at me and really upsetting me. First thing she did was put the shock collar back on the dog. It is breaking my heart to think about it. I so wish I didn't find the owner. The dog did not want to go with her and cowered. I'm having trouble dealing with this and I know there is nothing I can do. I think she is using the dog for breeding. It was obvious looking at the dog that she had a litter not too long ago.
So today I feel sad. Guess I need to paint to get my mind off of it.
Hope you all have a good day and share it. I love hearing a little about your lives.
