chanda95 Thank you all! I am still in the "wow, that's cool" phase of it all. I haven't even gone to see it. My kid and I spent the day hiking yesterday so we didn't go to the fair. I found out from my sister who kept telling me I needed to check my facebook (because that is where she posted the updates). I told her I couldn't because I was eating lunch and couldn't access it (I have a dumb phone). She finally broke down and told me.

TerryCurley Most painters today don't get down to the nitty gritty details of the picture. It's more of an impression of a scene. I'm including myself in that category. Most of the pictures I do can be done in a day and pretty much anybody can do it with just a little practice. What you do is a rare skill. Very detailed and expressive portraying life as it really is. The one painter that comes to mind that compares to your work would be Norman Rockwell. He captured the scene and the details and the character of the people.

just Paintings have fancy colors but we know that the real talent lies in capturing the world in black and white. Way to go.
