pencils Rag paper...have to decide how much tooth you want in the paper, sometimes I like more tooth sometimes less, really depends on what I`m doing though in general I like less tooth for drawing. Ask art supply shop staff, but don`t skimp ... when it comes to art supplies I never skimp, always buy the best if you want it to last.
I like Montval Canson by Maruman, a Japanese brand, I use it for watercolors and drawing, a very hood quality acid free all round paper. D`Arches I like for watercolors too. Also like KMK KENT by Muse...use it a lot for drawing, very nice high quality paper.

Help finding good artist paper...

My sister would like me to draw a thumbprint tree for her wedding. I could really use some good suggestions for paper. It would have to be high quality, around 20"x30". Slightly off white is preferable, but white would do.
