| Steve Neul | Difficult to say. If they are modeled after a real person are they a good likeness? To me without knowing the subject it looks like the shape of the head is too narrow in width on the first one. It appears both need more hair and I think the pupils in the eyes are too pronounced. A lot of times in old world sculpture the pupils are left out for that reason and sculpture in wood I was taught to never do that. |

I would say that the cheek bone area looks quite underdeveloped so I would recommend working on that area more. The face also seems a little narrow and the chin quite small. Are you working from photograph or life? |
