Environmental Art

Hi, I'm a 19 year old student from North Carolina, and I'm trying to use my art to make a positive environmental impact. I collect litter and sort out the plastic and incorporate it into my art to fund a live oyster repopulation sculpture. Since oyster filter water naturally, as the sculpture becomes an oyster bed, it will help clean pollution from the water. I only broke into art recently, but I've gotten really good response from my community so far. I do everything myself, from collecting, cleaning, and cutting the plastic to painting and setting the pieces. People seem really interested in my work, but it''s hard to get in contact with people looking to buy, since the amount of work that goes into each piece means they run a bit on the higher side.
