Scratchboard

Not sure if anyone else does this, but I do.

Started this one today, needed a break from looking at the computer screen. Sorry for the crappy image. I snapped a pic with my phone. My phone apparently does not like the black! lol

Wow, that's gorgeous! I tried to do a scratchboard a few months ago. It was of a kitten and even had the image outlined for me. I still managed to turn it into a total disaster!

I sketched this one and then lightly traced the lines onto the board. I have some good, good boards that I want to use, but it has been awhile so I am using one of the cheaper thin paper types.

That's beautiful! I have done a few scratchboard pieces but they really aren't my cup of tea. You are doing great with this.

Simply STUNNING. It's beautiful just as it is! It is going to be one gorgeous piece of work when you are done.
