Guidelines For Referencing Articles Or Studies From Another Site
If you reference an article or study from another site, please do not post the entire article or study within your post. Simply quote a small segment of it, along with a link to the source.
You should also use our quote function to help make it clear that the words are not yours.
Example: A quoted section would look like the following.
"In addition to selling work through your own website, there are also plenty of websites out there dedicated to selling fine art. These sites may require a listing fee or they might take commission from each sale, but they can take some of the hassle out of trying to sell your artwork yourself. Some good options for artists include Etsy, Artfire, Artplode, Fine Art America, and more. You can also sell artwork on Amazon or Ebay. Just be sure to review listing policies before you choose an outlet." Tips for Selling Your Artwork Online
Additionally, we should NOT share pictures from another site without permission to do so.
Please do not just post a link or article without adding your own thoughts regarding the information you are sharing. This is an FAQ tutorial thread. If you have additional questions or need help with this topic, please start a new thread in our ArtistForum.com Help Desk section.
