Unfortunately when I say these days, what I actually mean is "these weeks".. So, I don't have much work worth showing now.
I was hoping to get some specific ideas of works I could create. I'm interested in all kinds of mediums as styles. No boundaries!
Can you give me a specific work/project I should carry out?
I just meant post some pictures you have done in the past. Myself, I like to paint portraits and also genealogy so I've been painting pictures of ancestors I can find photographs of. Art is a personal choice thing. Another person might prefer landscapes or abstract art. A lot of times you can run across a picture of something that gives you inspiration or at least the idea of a picture you would like to make.
It can be so frustrating when one has no creative inspiration...!
I find most of my inspiration comes from walking around in nature, and reading a lot of poetry, mythology, interesting fiction and also from compelling movies (like Picnic and hanging Rock, or Bladerunner for example) I also get a lot of inspiration from the classic artists like Van Gough, Gustav Klimt, Vermeer, Degas etc.
When all else fails, I just stare out the window and use my imagination
~ Why don't you experiment with illustrating a scene from one of your favourite books, or a poem you like...?
Sounds amazing! Thank you very much for the tips =)
