Lightbulb Plein Air Easel

I am still considering my options for buying an easel and I was wondering if I were to buy a plein air easel will I be able to use it in studio or are they only suitable for outdoor use?

To the Sea, to the Sea! The white gulls are crying,
The wind is blowing, and the white foam is flying.
West, west away, the round sun is falling.
Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,
The voices of my people that have gone before me?
I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.

Is this a dumb question? Is that why no one is answering?

I was waiting for someone who might have more experience with such to answer but I guess they missed your question.

After some research, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to use it in studio. Unless I am way off on this, the plein air easels are designed to hold as much as possible to make it easier when you don't have tables and stands around you as you would in the studio.

Grateful to Jesus for everything!

Thank you Susan. I don't see any reason one couldn't use plein air easels in doors, but I was just wondering if there was a down side since I would way prefer to have the option of out door use. Thanks again.
