Smile Artist looking for commission work

Hey my name is Jo and I am an animal/human portrait artist. I am looking for some commissions to be able to sell my work. I work in pencil/graphite and acrylic paint. I will also do an example of the work (in a smaller version) first to show you to make sure that you are happy to go ahead before parting with your money. I have only just registered on here so I haven't yet added an album so until then please PM or email me and I will show you some examples of my work. If you are interested please contact me. [email protected] or PM me thanks

Marketing your artwork on a website filled with other hi-caliber artists is not the best place to start. There are so many incredible artists here who are also marketing their own works in other locations. They come on this to share their talent with others and to learn from others, not to solicit them to purchase their works.

I am sure if you asked you will find many artists willing to provide you with possible ideas for marketing your work to a more suitable group of people. There are so many avenues - You can market at galleries (which do charge a commission) or you can try local coffee shops or restaurants (sometimes they will feature work by local artists). There are many online options for marketing as well.

I do hope you stick around and share your work with us and participate in group discussions. Don't be surprised if you never get a bite for purchasing your work since many of us are quite capable artists in our own right and often don't have the funds to be purchasing the artwork of others.
