| I decided to do some work on some Art Deco pieces after some plaster panels in the lobby of a building in New York City. There are 8 plaster panels in the 2 lobbys each having a specific character based on the theme of the lobby. The themes and plaques were; Mental life: "Enlightenment," "Vision," "Courage," "Achievement" Physical life: "Endurance," "Activity," "Effort," "Success" I decided on the size for the panel, which will start out at about 18″ X 24″, which after the clay has shrunk on the master model will probably wind up around 16″ X 21-1/2″ or so, a nice size without being too large or heavy. ![]() Art patrons should be able to file malpractice lawsuits against bad art Last edited by Randall; 02-13-2012 at 09:04 AM. |
