Thanks a lot Chanda! You inspired me to try them and I really like the medium. I did myself first to see if I could pull it off. Lol

Michael, That's absolutely astounding. My wife's been checking out your work too and really likes it. And coming from her, that's a big time compliment! Not sure if I'm going to show her this one though. As Jeff said, "...young, talented and the physique of a cage fighter."

So, how do you like colored pencils? What kind did you get?

Well, the top of line of colored pencils are Caran d'Ache Luminance, but the cost is almost prohibitive, well over $300 for a set of 72. My personal choice is, well there's two I like. Prismacolor Premier are great. Very soft vibrate colors and they blend well. My other favorite is Derwent coloursoft. I like these because they are encased in a thicker wood than the Prixmacolor. They just feel better in my hand. Yet, I like the Prixmacolor's texture when applying, smooth, thick and easy.

But the bottem line is, " It's the Indian, not the arrows", as was just testified by your wonderful drawing.

There's a site that tells all about the various brands. If memory serves, it was called Colored Pencil Studio. I tried to post a link, but apparently that's a no-no here.
