Default Life model in charcoal

Hi, this is my first work posted here, it's made on my drawing classes with charcoal, on 70x50 cm paper. I'd love to hear what do you think.

Very nice. I remember from my days in art class, live subjects were difficult because you weren't able to use any tools to help get proportions correct. You really have to rely on your eye alone, and you have done a very good job.

Thanks a lot! And yes, it can be difficult sometimes, especially when you work with 15 other people in one room and you can't really concentrate Thanks once again for looking and comment!

I remember from my days in art school how distracting it can be with other people around and the teacher looking over you shoulder. Of course when we had live models, the first day was a guy and it was a nude model, which sucked. So naturally all of us guys were looking forward to the next day when it was a woman model. Joke was on us when some 70 year old woman walked in and started taking off her clothes.

I loved life drawing classes! Even though our guy model was old and fat (and sometimes he used to fall asleep and snore ), and the lady couldn't stand in one position for too long (she'd love a break every 30 minutes), it was still fun and really challenging

Glad that you like it, thanks for your comment Michael!
